This reminds me of holidays.
Smell of the sea, Mediterranean food and wine. In the case white wine sauce.
In less than three weeks I’ll be on the beach, sipping martini and eating olives. That beach body is so in progress and I just couldn’t resist mussels in white wine sauce.
All you need is:
500 grams of fresh, preferably live mussels
2 cups of dry white wine
4 Shallots, chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
Rinse and scrub mussels,
In large pan pot set on medium heat fry you shallots and garlic, let it simmer for 5 minutes then add wine.
Add mussels and increase the heat to maximum, cook until open.
Enjoy with a glass of white.
